Artwork Information
Artwork begins with either a drawing on paper or computer-generated artwork. This artwork has to be separated by color onto film positives, which then are "burned" onto screens. Therefore, only vector art can be used for silk screening. Programs in which vector art is created include Adobe Illustrator and Corel Draw. Our program of choice is Corel Draw. TSO Screen Printers uses PCs and software programs Corel Draw 12, Adobe Photoshop CS, and Adobe Illustrator 9. Any artwork that is not vector may incur an art charge.

Pantone Matching Systems colors are designed for the offset printing industry. With plastisol ink, we come very close to PMS colors, but cannot be guaranteed as exact. There is an additional charge for PMS matching.
